Afrimine Southern Africa is a supplier of high quality Graphite Electrodes that are made from calcined petroleum coke and high quality imported needle petroleum coke, which are widely used in Electric Arc Furnaces, Mineral-Heated Furnaces to make alloy steel, other metallic and non-metallic materials, etc.Graphite diameters range between 250 – 600 mm with grades UHP/HP/RP. Electrodes are packed in wooden crates and nipples in wooden cases; or packed pre-set as customer's requirements, inner plastic to prevent water and dust, and braced with steel strip to make it safe for transportation.Artificial graphite electrode is made of high-quality low ash materials, such as petroleum coke, needle coke and coal pitch. After calcining, burdening, kneading, forming, baking and pressure impregnation, it is graphitized in a high temperature of over 3000°C, and then treated with machining. Such of the products own characteristics with low resistivity, good electrical conductivity, low ash, even and compact structure, good anti oxidation and high mechanical strength.
